Gideon is the founder and Managing Partner of SXC, bringing over 20 years of experience as a finance executive, investor and advisor specializing in venture capital, technology and media companies. He is also a co-owner and the former president of the San Francisco 49ers, holding the distinction of being the first President of color of any team in the history of the National Football League. While at the 49ers, he helped launch Levi’s Stadium by securing an $850 million stadium construction loan, the largest ever in professional sports. Gideon previously served as the Chief Financial Officer of Facebook, leading the $375 million investment round from Microsoft at an also then-record $15 billion valuation, as well as YouTube, leading the negotiations and sale to Google for a then-record $1.65 billion. He also served as General Partner at Khosla Ventures, a venture capital firm focused on early-stage technology companies, where he led the firm’s investment in Square, Inc., a leading fintech company, and was its first outside board member.

Gideon serves as a director of Enjoy Technology, Inc. (Nasdaq: ENJY), a technology-powered platform operating the Smart Last Mile™ solution, and Razer, Inc., a multinational technology company that designs and builds a gamer-focused ecosystem, traded on the Hong Kong Exchange (HKG:1337). He currently serves as an independent board member for the PGA of America, on the Board of Trustees of the Monterey Bay Aquarium and the Council of Korean Americans, and on the National Leadership Council of the Navy SEAL Foundation.

As Partner & COO of SXC, Calvin leads all day-to-day activities across investments, partner management, portfolio company engagements, investor relations, and fund operations. Calvin brings 30 years of experience in launching, scaling, and transforming businesses through strategic GTM and corporate initiatives. He has held executive positions at eight venture-backed startups, including six as CEO or President. Notably, he was the 35th employee of Lycos, the fastest IPO in history that ultimately was acquired by Terra Networks for $12.5B, delivering a return of nearly 3,000x the company’s initial venture capital investment and about 20x its IPO valuation. As SVP Sales & Marketing at Ticketmaster, he helped triple the digital business and launch over 20 products, transforming the platform into a data-driven marketplace and liquidity platform. Throughout his career, Calvin has contributed to $5 billion in fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic business development initiatives.

Calvin holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, a BS in Electrical Engineering, magna cum laude, from UCLA, and a BA in Economics-Business, magna cum laude, from UCLA. A dedicated sports enthusiast, he is often found cheering for his hometown teams, the San Francisco Giants, Golden State Warriors, and San Francisco 49ers, while honing his skills as an aspiring home chef for his partner Christine and son Chaydin.

As a Partner at SXC, Stephanie’s work spans investor relations, capital formation, transaction structuring, fund operations, and strategic support for portfolio companies. She brings nearly 30 years of experience across investment banking, venture capital, fundraising, and high-growth company operations. Over the past decade, Stephanie has advised global venture capital firms, including Rakuten Capital and TempoCap, on investments, portfolio strategy, valuations, and exits, and has represented fund interests on portfolio company boards. She also served as CFO of a private equity-backed global hospitality benchmarking company, where she led initiatives across forecasting, performance management, financial systems, and investor reporting.

Stephanie began her career on Wall Street at Lehman Brothers, Neuberger Berman, and HSBC. Across transactions spanning North America, Europe, and Asia, she has helped raise more than $10 billion through equity, debt, and hybrid financings for companies in technology, financial services, and healthcare. Her experience as an investor, advisor, and operator gives her a practical, globally informed perspective on supporting founders and building enduring businesses.

Stephanie holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB in Economics from Harvard University. A passionate traveler, she has visited more than 60 countries and is always planning her next destination.

Gaylord is a Partner at SXC, bringing 30 years of product and technology leadership experience across startups and Fortune 500 companies. He has served as a Chief Technology Officer at both the startup and enterprise levels and is named as an inventor on more than 100 patents worldwide spanning hardware, software, wireless protocols, and consumer electronics.

Gaylord began his career at Motorola, where he spent more than 15 years developing cellular and wireless technologies ranging from the original flip phone through LTE. He later led large global engineering teams and received Motorola’s Corporate Quality Award for a major customer deployment that achieved 99.999% reliability. He subsequently served as Vice President of Engineering at Publicis Groupe, where he helped develop foundational digital advertising technology that was acquired by Google and later became part of the DoubleClick platform.

As co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Bowers & Wilkins, Gaylord helped scale the company from a three-person startup into a globally recognized premium consumer electronics brand. Under his technical leadership, Bowers & Wilkins products expanded across consumer retail and luxury automotive partnerships, including BMW, Maserati, McLaren, and Volvo. Gaylord also teaches at the business schools of Loyola University Chicago and Dominican University and has been nominated for Loyola’s St. Ignatius Teaching Award.
